Our Holiday Gift Guide is Here!

"We're fortunate to be able to offer essentially a two-day a week craft fair for the next several weeks," says John Nason, Interim Operations Manager at the Olympia Farmers Market. In addition to fresh local produce, dairy, seafood, seasonal items, wreaths and greens and bread and baked goods, the Market has about 25 crafters each weekend offering various unique items including jewelry, inspired art, chocolates, crafts and something for everyone on your holiday list!

This Saturday, November 28 marks Small Business Saturday, when patrons are encouraged to shop locally and support small businesses. And Sunday, November 29 is Artists Sunday, celebrating crafters and artists. This holiday season, make heartfelt connections with friends and loved ones with a unique and handcrafted gift.

Looking for a specific vendor? Our vendor list is posted to our website each week and you can call the Market before coming down. Some vendors participate in our Online Market and others may have Small Business Saturday deals online. Click here for a list of Olympia Farmers Market craft vendors.

Skin & Body Care

There’s a scent for everyone here at the Market, from serious to silly, you’ll find the perfect scent profile for yourself or a friend. Try a collection of body care products from Riverdance Soapworks, Cascadia Terroir or Simply Life.

New to the Market this year, check out the toners, eye oils and moisturizers offered by Rainchild Apothecary and Eufloria Botanicals. Rainchild Apothecary's flavored lip balms make perfect stocking stuffers!

Jewelry & Wearables

Begin your holiday shopping now and pick from the selection of handcrafted jewelry by Andi Clarke Jewelry, Silentgoddess Jewelry and RavenTree Design. Visit Dancing Circles beginning this December.

Beyond the crafting of face masks, Market crafters also offer clothing items to suit any style! Fossilwear, Pieces to Peaces and Trnka can fit you head to toe. Sold seasonally but sturdy enough to wear year-round, Trnka’s elf slippers are made from upcycled sweaters and repurposed upholstery leather.

Prints & Cards

It’s important to find creative ways to stay connected this year. Send a card to the ones you miss. Each artist has their own style and a number of prints to choose from. Let art created by Paper Matters and Art by Kathleen LeGault bring you color and cheer this season.

Shop online to see the work of artists SNC Art & More, Ginger Street Glass and J Krough Colwell Art.

Home & Garden

When you support local artists, each item you purchase comes with a story of how that artist came to create. If you find yourself creating a cozier atmosphere for yourself or home, or for a unique gift, add character to a space with a handcrafted piece from crafters Lindon Toney Woodworks, Wood Art by Howard & Robert, Marion Pollmann Clay Art or Secret Garden Quilts.

For those who aspire to spend their days outdoors or who have found themselves spending more time outside, check out Wood Art by Howard & Robert’s planter boxes and ask Marion Pollmann Clay Art about customizing a hanging tile for your outdoor patio!

For the Holidays

Whether you’re savoring the last weeks of fall or you’ve already started celebrating Christmas, there is a wreath vendor who has decorations to fit your season. Lynch Creek Farm, Nisqually Farm and The Perennial Gardener are at the Market every Saturday and Sunday now through December 20, you'll find a perfect piece to decorate your home or to give as a gift!

Another seasonal vendor you will not want to miss is Long Life Beeswax Candles. These candles are as wonderful for daily use and as they are for special occasions. There is no time like the present where we could all use the extra warmth.

Mix Up Your Meal

Overwhelmed with holiday leftovers or looking to add something new to the plate? We recommend these items to mix up your meals. Ask each vendor for serving recommendations: Mel O Soup, Olykraut, Wild Heart Sipping Vinegars and Hotsauce Fresh.

We encourage you to shop locally this holiday season and hope to see you at the Holiday Market soon!
