An Important Note About COVID-19

The Market board and staff continue to monitor the advancing COVID-19 health crisis closely, seeking guidance from our partners at Thurston County Public Health and Social Services and the Washington State Farmers Market Association.

We believe the availability of local foods is key to a healthy community and that the market is an important platform for our farmers, processors and other small businesses to sell directly to that community. Our market has the advantage of being in an open-air building with excellent airflow and on-site restroom facilities. As of now we plan on remaining open as previously scheduled - every Saturday through March and Thursday through Sunday beginning April 2, 2020.

We are taking the following steps to keep our customers, vendors and staff safe:

  • We have made a hand washing station available with hot water and soap located on the west side of the market office at stall 74.
  • We have added hand sanitizing stations near the market office and in the courtyard.
  • We have removed the picnic bench seating for customers under the barn.
  • We have postponed all music and entertainment on market main stage until further notice.

We are concerned about the health of our community as well as the livelihood of all of our vendors in the wake of this health crisis and do not make any of these decisions lightly. We will continue to monitor the situation and advise of any changes to our schedule on our website and social media channels.
