Pam Cummings began serving espresso in 1991 on her parents’ farm in Kamilche, WA. The mobile espresso bar traveled to events and fairs, and eventually, Pam added food to the menu. In 2009, Pam purchased the Heyday location, and it has been family-owned and operated ever since. Pam’s children, and now grandchildren, have grown up with Heyday and still work to operate the restaurant.
Today, HeyDay is best known for their espresso, but they are also popular for their all-day breakfast and lunch menu. HeyDay Café is proud to serve quality food and drinks to their customers and to support local businesses while doing so. They source their coffee beans from Batdorf and Bronson, sandwich bread from San Francisco Street Bakery, and seasonal ingredients from other Olympia Farmers Market vendors.
HeyDay offers seasonal sandwich specials and drinks throughout the year. Look out for the specials board outside their restaurant for suggestions on what to try next. Year-round you will still find customer favorites such as their Belgian waffles and grilled cheese sandwich specials! Stop by and sample a special this weekend!
