Join us this Saturday, October 5, to Celebrate Local Flowers!

This Saturday, October 5, we will be celebrating an amazing summer of local flowers and the beauty of fall flowers with the Washington Flowers Project team. The team has been all over the state promoting local flowers at farmers markets and will make its final stop at our market! While an early frost this week brought an early end to the dahlia season, Ojeda Farms will still have many flower varieties available.

The Washington Flowers Project team will have free stickers, pins and flower seed packets, plus a kids’ coloring activity and their super popular back drop for #washingtonflowers selfie pics!

Stop by and say hi this Saturday! And use #washingtonflowers #localflowersmakelifebetter #waflowers hashtags on social media and tag @olympiafarmersmarket if you take any pictures!

The Washington Flowers Project is funded by a WSDA Specialty Block Grant and aims to increase consumer awareness of where their flowers are grown and to assist in building the relationship between flower farmers, florists, designers and customers.
