The Bavarian Wurst is first established
food vendor at the market has been serving
up German sausages and hot dogs since
1982. Brigitta Endler began her business
with the help of her family in a wooden
shack when the market was on Plum Street
and the year after at Sleater-Kinney Road.
The sausages that started the business
are still among the biggest sellers. Ten
kinds are available, with bratwurst the most
popular. The focus here is definitely on
meat and potatoes, in the form of German
and American potato salad and fries both
curly and straight, but with such a large
variety on the menu, there is something for
everybody.
